Saturday, September 5th the Ribbon Riders Iron Butt crew departed Orlando at exactly 5:00am for Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with the determination of completing an Iron Butt Ride- 1000 miles in less than 24 hours.

Congratulations are due to Lynne, Stacey, Karen, Carmen, Pam, Mel, Dee, Dwayne and Matt for completing the run of 1069 miles in just under 22 hours!

It was a long, grueling day of riding, but the group was in good spirits and smiling all the way to the end!

A big thank you to Petra with Vtwinmama.com and Myrtle Beach Harley Davidson for welcoming the group for a much needed rest and lunch, everyone who followed the ride on Facebook and Twitter and to those who sponsored the riders with donations. We reached our goal of $1000 in donations, in fact we more than doubled it! Your generosity allows us to continue to help breast cancer patients in Central Florida.
